The most skilled DJ’s always have the ability to sense the anticipation and feelings of their audience. These artists go along and ride the musical palette like a surfer riding the waves of the ocean. It is precisely for this skill that Roger Martinez has been praised numerous times.

In combination with his seamless musical mixing technique he, as an upcoming talent, has surprised many with his performances. Although he has been known through the years as a “Progressive DJ”, his sets are living proof that his musical taste reaches much further.

Especially in his own productions he tries to go beyond genres and formats. He approaches (dance) music from an emotional perspective and emotions can be hard to label. He explains: ,,Music must contain mystery, harmony and melody. These elements are the key to human emotions and feelings.” This vision lay at the basis
of Roger’s initial and quick rise to the forefront of the dance scene.

His first ever released record “The House” was immediately charted by Paul van Dijk, number 1 DJ at the time according to DJ Mag.
In 2007 Roger’s first release on Marco V’s “In-Charge” label immediately hit the Beatport top 10 dance charts for several weeks. His skills got the attention of many of the big names in the scene. He was even asked to do a remixing work for Dj Tiësto’s mix album “Elements of Life: Remixed”.

His music has been supported through the years by the likes of Fedde le Grand, Tiësto, Marco V, Paul van Dijk, Hernan Cattaneo, Stephan Bodzin, Laurent Garnier, Secret Cinema, Guy J and many more.

2011 saw the emergence of “RogerMartinezLIVE”, a LIVEset consisting of 100% Roger Martinez tracks. After releasing several tracks and a full EP on renowned techno label “GEM Records”, Roger Martinez was asked to join the GEM Bookings. As his recent tracks are leaning towards a Techno sound – although Martinez always keeps his musical crosshairs aimed at the full musical spectrum – he is gaining support and respect from an even wider scope of DJ’s and producers!

,,Music can affect people on a deeper, universal, emotional level and thus can unite
‐Roger Martinez

DONATELLO (Lithuania)

Such compliments Donatello has been accustomed to hear not only from Lithuania’s progressive house music fans, but also from international DJ guests. “Amounts of enthusiasm and uncontrollable energy exuding from his sets remind me about beginning of my own career. He has EVERY trait needed for a DJ. I mean – an impressive DJ” – claims UK producer Clive Henry (PEACE DIVISION), along whose side Donatello played in club EXIT (Kaunas, Lithuania). Donatello was hand picked to represent the best so far promoters’ agency in Lithuania – ATARI. And ATARI guys don’t joke around. During the past overcrowded months on clubbers’ agendas Donatello became an unofficial resident of the ATARI ORIGINAL nights in club Galaxy, Vilnius. One of the biggest Lithuanian venues was absolutely packed with over 1500 clubbers/ enthusiasts each and every time gagging for more from Booka Shade, Maceo Plex, John Digweed and others.. Donatello never gets an easy get away from the audience; hence he’s been very busy playing in Kaunas club EXIT (awarded as the best club of Lithuania twice). After a few years of professional diversity at the beginning of his DJ path, Donatello has perfected various burning mixtures of deep, tech-house and progressive. Together with Kastis Torrau and Arnas D, they beat out 1000 competitors from around the world to win the ‘Next Producer Star Competition’ organized by Beatport and Burn Studios. The result was a joint collaboration with legendary UK producer Sasha for his Last Night on Earth imprint, as well as a remix of his track ‘Cut Me Down’, which has amassed 10 million YouTube views and counting!
