Klubil 9/11 on rõõm ja au teatada, et 25. novembril saabub Eestisse housemuusika maailma üks suurnimesid – DJ ja produtsent GUY J.
Elektroonilise muusika ilu peitub selles, et tal pole piire ja et teda saab vormida ükskõik milliseks looja soovib. Vähesed suudavad sellist luksust niivõrd andekalt ära kasutada kui Tel-Avivist pärit Guy J, kes on end viimase 10 aastaga suutnud klubimuusika absoluutsesse tippu lennutada. Selle aja jooksul on mees välja andnud 3 albumit ning sadakond singlit ja remixi. Tema meisterlikkust tunnistavad Digweed, Cattaneo, Warren ja teised saurused.
Kuigi tugevalt mõjutatud kodumaal Iisraelis populaarsest psytrance ja progressive scenest, on Guy J enda sõnul tema loomingus suur roll ka vanakooli technol. Selle tulemusena on mees loonud endale iseäraliku soundi, mida iseloomustavad sügavad meloodiad ja hüpnootilised bassikäigud, mille sisse võib end märkamatult pikemaks ajaks ära unustada. Selline atmosfääriline lendlemine võib mõjuda rahustavalt ja energiat andvalt üheaegselt.
2013. aastal asutas Guy J enda labeli Lost & Found, mis võimaldab produktiivsel muusikul lisaks enda loomingule avaldada ka täiesti uusi hüpnootilisema housemuusika talentide teoseid ja ka tuntud artistide pärle.
Esmakordselt Eestis üles astuvat Guy J-d soojendab DJ SOLID STEEL, alias Rain Tunger, kes juba 11 aastat veab R2-s iganädalast klubimuusika saadet „Progressioon”, mis on Raadio 2 õhtuse muusikavööndi järelkuulatuim saade.
Peo lõpetab IVO NARIES, mees, kelle positiivne energia ning kaasahaaravad, mänglevad ja värvikad setid on lennutanud teda üle maailma – alates kõrbekuumast Burningmani festivalist ja troopilistest Tai väliklubidest, kuni Ibizani. Ibizal avanes tal võimalus õppida ja üles astuda maailmakuulsate DJ-de Philipp Straubi, John Digweedi ja Carl Coxi juhedamisel. Ivo näol on tegemist mitmekülgse ja tegusa inimese, muusiku ja DJ-ga, kes on toonud uue hingamise siinsesse tantsumuusika- ja peokultuuri. Ta on Burningmaniga ühiseid väärtuseid jagava festivali Bling looja ja eestvedajana pannud aluse ühele erilisematest ja ainulaadsematest festivalidest kogu regioonis.

Club 9/11 is honoured to announce, that on 25th of November, Estonia will be visited by one of the biggest names in house music – DJ and a producer GUY J.
The true beauty of electronic music is that it has no limits. It exists to be molded into whatever the creator desires. Few embrace this luxury with more precision and care than Tel Aviv’s Guy J. Over the past decade Guy J has risen to the top of the scene with 3 albums and nearly a hundred singles and remixes. His production has also been praised by Digweed, Cattaneo, Warren and other big names of the industry.
Mainly influenced by Israel’s popular psy-trance and progressive scene, by his own words, oldschool techno also plays a big role in his production. As a result, Guy J has created a sound, which is kind of unique to him only. Deep melodies and hypnotic basslines that grab you in and make you forget yourself. This atmospheric gliding in music is simultaneously soothing and energizing.
In 2013 Guy J founded his own label “Lost & Found”, besides his own music it enables releases from the new and old talent who produce similar type of hypnotic house music.
Guy J’s first appearence in Estonia will be warmed by SOLID STEEL (aka Rain Tunger), who is a DJ and Radio 2’s most popular electronic music show “Progressioon“ host. Progressioon has been on air for 11 years already.
And the event will be wrapped up by IVO NARIES. The man whose positive energy, addictive, playful and colourful sets have been heard in different places around the world – from the desert heat in Burning Man festival and Thailand’s beachclubs to Ibiza itself. In Ibiza he had the opportunity to learn and perform under the guidance of renown DJ’s like Philipp Straub, John Digweed and Carl Cox. Ivo has brought new life and energy into the local dancemusic and party culture with his positive attitude as a promoter and a musician. He is the creator and the man behind one of the most unique and special local festival called Bling, which shares the values of Burning Man festival.
